On July 03, 2025, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”), issued a consultation paper to solicit comments, views, and suggestions from the public on the draft circular titled ‘Electronic Book Provider Platform for Issuance of Instruments by Not-for-Profit Organizations on Social Stock Exchange’. (“Consultation Paper”).[1] The draft circular can be accessed in Annexure-A of the Consultation Paper and can be accessed at the official SEBI website. The public and all stakeholders are invited to submit their comments/ suggestions on the Consultation Paper, latest by July 24, 2025.
