An overview
Sarthak has a robust practice in infrastructure and construction sector, with experience in advising on projects in India, Senegal, Dubai, Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives. We advise both on transactions and disputes in the infrastructure and construction sector. We are regularly engaged for drafting and vetting of bid documents, pre-bid and post-bid agreements, letter of awards, structuring, drafting and negotiation of joint venture documentation, drafting and negotiation of EPC and O&M contracts, and project finance documentation. We have also worked with government agencies in preparation of the standard bid documentation for PPP projects. We work closely with the financial advisors of our clients in providing assistance in seamless and quick financial closures.
In disputes, we represent various public sector and private clients on infrastructure and construction arbitrations and enforcement actions. We advise on a range of disputes between concessionaires and government agencies, principal employers and EPC contractors, and contractors and suppliers. We engage with our clients extensively in identifying the claims, evidence, and expert witnesses.
