On March 20, 2025, the Securities Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”), issued a consultation paper on review of provisions pertaining to Electronic Book Provider (“EBP”) Platform and Request for Quote (“RFQ”) Platform (“Consultation Paper”)[1]. The Consultation Paper invites public comments and suggestions, to be submitted at the latest by April 10, 2025.
While, Part A of this Consultation Paper suggests various proposals regarding EBP, Part B of this Consultation Paper suggests the proposals regarding RFQ. The Consultation Paper aims to enhance their efficacy and greater transparency.
