International Financial Services Centres Authority (“IFSCA”), in exercise of powers issued under Section 12 and Section 13 of the International Financial Services Centres Authority Act, 2019, vide Circular No. IFSCA-DTFA/1/2025,[1] dated April 08, 2025, issued a circular outlining the fee structure applicable to applicants, Regulated Entities (“REs”), and persons seeking guidance under the Informal Guidance Scheme (“Circular”).
The Circular categorizes the fees as follows:
- Application fees
- Licence/Registration/Recognition/Authorization fees
- Annual recurring fees
- Activity-based fees
- Processing fees
- Late fees
- Informal guidance fees
The fees for the entities undertaking or intending to undertake permissible activities in IFSC or seeking guidance under the informal guidance scheme shall now be remitted to the designated IFSCA account, as per the detailed instructions provided in the said Circular.
